Charles X – BLOWN

For all those who do not know this artist yet, here is the link of his live for Nova, breathtaking. It’s been almost two years since Charles left us almost orphaned … But he’s back! His new Blown clip will be available this Friday on the Youtube platform and this title looks really hip-hop that he has done before.

This clip is the first excerpt from his new EP. Between 2012 and 2016 the artist spoiled us with 3 projects: a blastante mixtape Beats And Beast in 2013, a debut album The Revolution … And The Day After, in 2015 and the most soulful ever, Sounds Of The Yesteryear, in 2016.

A very promising new clip

In this new sound more than Hip-Hop, Charles traces the monotonous life of a pizza delivery man. Being almost ignored or abused by his clients, Blown is a hymn to decompression and letting go. As for the very planing sounds associated with a remarkable visual work, they are enough to surrender to the flow of the artist.

We will notice nevertheless that Charles X seeks in this pieces to denounce what is happening in the United States. In the beginning then at the end of the clip is a reference to Santa Pizza, a company for which Donald Trump made an advertisement a few years ago. Perhaps there is also a political message behind this new project, claims to be made. We will discover it during the release of his EP.

As you understand, the new project was waiting and it’s good that it will be available soon! Charles will be in Paris on May 18th for a concert for all those who would be curious to see him on stage.
